Available Scholarships

In addition to the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation general scholarships, there are a number of scholarships available that are either restricted or preferential in purpose.  Restricted Scholarships are limited to clearly defined criteria established by the funds donor(s). Preferential Scholarships have preferred criteria established by the donor(s) but in circumstances where no applicants meet the established criteria, the funds may be used for other applicants. The restricted and preferential scholarships are listed below, though not all scholarships are available on an annual basis:

  • Adam S. Jacobs Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Indiana University – Beta Gamma Chapter
     

  • Alan Honigberg Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Washington University - St. Louis - Alpha Xi Chapter
     

  • Alpha Centennial Scholarship - Restricted to an in-state student attending a state school
     

  • Alpha Delta (Stanley Rousso) Centennial Scholarship Fund – Restricted to brothers of University of Southern California – Alpha Delta Chapter
     

  • Alpha Omicron Alumni Scholarship - Restricted to brothers of University of Arizona – Alpha Omicron Chapter
     

  • Alpha Rho-Goldring & Freund Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of University of California - Los Angeles - Alpha Rho Chapter
     

  • Alpha Tau-Steven M. Haas Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Franklin & Marshall College - Alpha Tau Chapter
     

  • Ben & Rose Gross Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Case Western Reserve University - Lambda Chapter
     

  • Beta Pi Chapter Specific Fund – Restricted to brothers of California State University – Long Beach – Beta Pi Chapter
     

  • Beta Xi Philip Scheier Fallen Brothers Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Brooklyn College – Beta Xi Chapter
     

  • Byron K. Schader Scholarship Fund – Restricted to Jewish brothers
     

  • David & Elaine Freed Annual Renewal Scholarship – Restricted to brothers of University of Southern California – Alpha Delta Chapter or University of California Los Angeles – Alpha Rho Chapter
     

  • David R. Aresty Memorial Scholarship Fund - Preferential to brothers of University of Alabama - Psi Chapter
     

  • Earl M. Robbins/Nu (Ohio State) Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of The Ohio State University - Nu Chapter
     

  • Edward Gutman Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Columbia University - Delta Chapter
     

  • Edwin N. Sommer Memorial Fund – Preferential to brothers of University of Nebraska – Alpha Theta Chapter
     

  • Gamma Mu (Memphis) Chapter Specific Fund – Preferential to brothers of University of Memphis – Gamma Mu Chapter
     

  • Gerald L. Pollack Memorial Scholarship Fund – Preferential to brothers of Indiana University – Beta Gamma Chapter or Monmouth College – Delta Lambda Chapter
     

  • Herbert Robinson Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to the children, grandchildren or other lineal descendants of Pi Chapter Boston University alumni
     

  • J. Ira & Nicki Harris Scholarship Fund – Restricted to brothers of University of Michigan – Phi Chapter
     

  • Jay R. Gotlieb Memorial Scholarship - Restricted to brothers of University of Alabama - Psi Chapter
     

  • Jeffrey H. Brotman Memorial Scholarship – Preferential to brothers of University of Washington - Seattle – Alpha Mu Chapter
     

  • Joseph Glaser Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of Rutgers State University of New Jersey - Beta Delta Chapter and/or University of Virginia – Chi Chapter
     

  • Justin P. Cohen Memorial Scholarship - Preferential to brothers of University of Alabama - Psi Chapter
